To Parents and/or Guardians of all LCSC Students: As our teachers continue to work toward the goal of helping our students to have success in the classroom, Logansport Community School Corporation has planned a Professional Development day for all LCSC staff members on Wednesday, September 14, 2022. On that day, students will not attend school. They will be given assignments by their teachers which they can complete at home on that day. Classes will resume as normal on Thursday, September 15, 2022. A los padres y/o tutores de todos los estudiantes de LCSC: Mientras nuestros maestras/os continúan trabajando hacia la meta de ayudar a nuestros estudiantes a tener éxito en el salón de clases, la Corporación Escolar Comunitaria de Logansport ha planeado un día de desarrollo profesional para todos los miembros del personal de LCSC el miércoles 14 de septiembre del 2022. Ese día, los estudiantes no asistirán a la escuela. Sus maestras/os les darán trabajo por medio de su laptop y que pueden completar en casa ese día. Las clases continuaran con normalidad el jueves 15 de septiembre de 2022.

Queridas familias, Al tratar de asegurarnos de que tengamos una recogida sin problemas y segura para nuestras familias al final del día, hemos planeado continuar con la rutina del año pasado. Los estudiantes que sean recogidos al final del día, cuyos apellidos comiencen con las letras de la A a la L, serán recogidos en la parte trasera del estacionamiento de Berry Bowl. Se les pide a los conductores que sigan los conos después de salir de Lincoln Way hacia el estacionamiento de Berry Bowl. A medida que la fila avanza hacia la acera, se cargará a los estudiantes en los carros. Luego, los conductores se adelantarán y saldrán de regreso a Lincoln Way. Los estudiantes cuyos apellidos comiencen con las letras de la M a la Z continuarán saliendo por el frente del edificio como están ahora. Los maestros revisarán esto con sus estudiantes el miércoles. Dear Families, In trying to make sure we have a smooth and safe pickup for our families at the end of the day, we have planned to continue the routine from last year. Students who are being picked up at the end of the day, whose last names begin with the letters A through L, will be picked up in the back of the Berry Bowl parking lot. Drivers are asked to follow the cones after exiting off Lincoln Way into the Berry Bowl parking lot. As the line proceeds forward to the sidewalk, students will be loaded into the cars. Drivers will then pull ahead and exit back onto Lincoln Way. Students whose last names begin with the letters M through Z will continue to exit from the front of the building as they are now. Teachers will review this with their students on Wednesday. If you carpool with someone whose last name doesn’t begin with the same group as yours, the school must be called by the parent before 1:30 on Wednesday so that we can get them to the correct exit. It will be the parent’s responsibility to notify the school of any transportation changes by 1:30 each day. Car tags, like we used last year, will be issued after school begins to each family with students in grades Kindergarten through 2nd grade. A matching tag number will also be provided for each child’s backpack. Car tags and backpack tags must match in order for the child to leave in the car. No cars will be allowed to line up prior to 2:30 for our 3:00 dismissal. Please contact the school if you have any questions.
